Staying stagnant in good times or in bad just doesn’t seem to be in my nature.  I am always looking into the future.  How can we provide even better service?  What new and exciting products are on the horizon that will be of value to our customers?  Where will this business be in 5, 10 and 25 years?  I don’t look towards the future with trepidation, but excitement, of what is just around the corner.

Our hometown of Windsor, Ontario has been hit hard with layoffs, plant closures and job losses, but I can see that we will not only survive, but thrive.  We have so many positive things going for us.  A great mayor and council and forward thinking citizens, who can see great things for our city, and are willing to put the time and effort into making things happen like the Red Bull Air races.

I see great things happening on the internet too.  More and more customers are becoming more internet sauvy and enjoying the convenience of shopping online at trusted stores.  There is simply too much to be thankful for to have time to worry about what lays ahead!

Shoppers are much more sauvy on how they spend their hard earned money.  They are looking for quality products at fair prices.  Yes, they may shop around a little more now, but they will also be loyal when they find what they are looking for, and their expectations are exceeded time and time again.  We plan to do just that, and I envision a time in the future when I will pass the reigns of a thriving business on to my children, or maybe even my grandchildren, so that they too can enjoy helping people send love, thanks and friendship across the miles.
