We live in a beautiful global world. No longer is it the norm that we stay in the same towns and cities where we were born and raised. Schooling, careers, love life, take us far and abroad and allow us to see parts of the world that past generations could only dream of. We no longer always live around the corner from mom and dad. Seeing them, or talking to them takes planning and commitment. Sunday dinners are replaced with Sunday phone calls. Sometimes some of our vacation time is used up travelling home to see family and friends. When it comes to holidays, birthdays and special occasions we need to get creative to ensure that they know that, although we are not there to give hugs, laugh and share in these special moments, we are there in spirit, that we love them and wish we were there.

I also try to make it as easy and stress free as I can for my customers who opt-in to our email list. I send out emails to let them know when a special holiday is coming up. I include order deadline dates, so they have plenty of time to peruse the site, make their selections and sit back and wait for the “THANK YOU SO MUCH, I LOVE IT!” phone calls!
