Online Ordering-Is it Safe?

YES!  As long as you order from a reputable site.  I, myself,  , A LOT.  Here are the things I look for.  An phone number (preferably toll free), so that I can call, if I have any concerns.  An actual street name and address (look at the bottom of the page or on the “About Us” page, a company who has been in business for a while or that I have been referred to by friends, a reputable shopping cart with good inscription (we use Mal’s E-Commerce, a leading shopping cart server.  Data is gathered using the strictest 128-bit encryption methods), a clear, easy to navigate website, that clearly states their shipping, privacy and return policies, and a way of tracking my order.

I find shopping online sooo convenient.  I can do it on my own time, from my office or home, in my pj’s and slippers, very early in the morning, or very late at night.  It is delivered right to my door and I am able to track its progress from shipping to receiving.  Due to the type of business I’m in, Christmas is very busy and starts very early for us, so I do as much of my Christmas shopping online as possible, whether I need the gifts delivered to me, or directly to the person they are intended for, I don’t need to step one foot in a store!

I sometimes think that online shopping was invented for people just like me.  I have never enjoyed shopping in stores.  Walking aimlessly through them, carrying bags of parcels or pushing carts around, ugh! But give me a computer with internet connections, a glass of ice tea or steaming cocoa, (and maybe some chocolate, for snacking) and I am ready to go!  I am pleased to see that more and more stores are offering Interac ONLINE.  It is a safe, effective way to shop and pay for your purchases and not have to worry about your credit card statement at the end of the month!  We have been offering this service for the past year, and have had terrific response from our customers.  The nice thing is, is that once you are done your shopping and choose to pay by Interac ONLINE, you are taken to your own bank, where you login, and pay for your purchase just like a bill payment.  The company you are buying from has no access to your information.  They simply get an email confirming that your payment has been made.  I really like this option and use it wherever it is available.  If you have any questions regarding online shopping or Interac ONLINE while shopping at Boodles of Baskets, my staff or I will be more than happy to assist you.
