Your Credit Card
All credit card transactions are processed online through Bambora a world leader in payment processing. Your receipt will have the name of our head office Boodles of Baskets on it.
In order to provide you with the freshest product possible, processing times are as follows:
Orders placed by 12pm EST Monday-Friday are processed and shipped the next business day. Orders placed after 12pm, on the weekend or a holiday, will be processed and shipped the day after the next business day.
eg. You place your order by 12pm EST Monday, a business day, your order is processed and shipped Tuesday.
Your order is placed after 12pm EST Monday, a business day, your order is processed and shipped Wednesday.
Taxes and Shipping Charges
Taxes are calculated based on where the gift is being delivered, not based on where the sender lives. If the correct province/state is not chosen during the order process and/or incorrect taxes are applied we will make the necessary corrections on your behalf and charge your credit card accordingly.
Shipping charges are per gift regardless if going to the same or different addresses as each gift is shipped in its own specially designed box. If shipping charges not chosen during the order process and/or an incorrect address is given, we will make the necessary corrections on your behalf and charge your credit card accordingly.
Each gift is shipped in its own shipping box and therefore shipping fees apply to each item, regardless of whether it is being shipped to the same address or not.
Our shipping is done via Fedex and Canada Post. Deliveries are made between approximately 9 and 6 EST Monday to Friday. Courier does not allow time specific deliveries (eg. by 1pm). Courier does not phone to arrange deliveries. Shipment times reflect business days. Shipping to remote locations may require more time and an increase in shipping costs. We will not be held responsible for delays due to weather or other acts of God. All of our gifts are available for shipping throughout Canada and the USA. Nunavut, NWT and the Yukon will incur additional ship days and shipping charges.
Hospital/Retirement/Colleges/and the like:
boodlesofbaskets.com will not be held responsible for gifts that has been delivered to shipping and receiving, but not forwarded to the patient/student/recipient by the accepting facility. Please keep in mind that there might be an additional day from the day courier delivers your gift, to the day the facility delivers it to the recipient. We have no control over this and is up to the individual facility.
If a recipient is not home when the gift is delivered, and it is a house your gift will be left in a shipping box on the porch. If it is going to an apartment or business, a signature may be required. A note will be left, if possible, instructing the recipient to either call the number provided to arrange for delivery or to sign the note with instructions on where to leave the gift for a re-delivery attempt the following business day. After two attempts, the gift will be returned to us. The courier charges us for all gifts returned to us. This charge will be passed on to you as soon as we are notified by the courier.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide us with the correct and complete shipping address (including buzzer number if applicable). If an address change request is made while the package is on route, an additional shipping fee of $13.50 will apply. Please check your addresses carefully! (Including a daytime phone number where the recipient can be reached is highly recommended.) Boodles of Baskets will not be held responsible for returns due to an incorrect address. No refund will be given.Delivery Tracking- As long as you provide us with a valid email address, you will receive a tracking updates for your gift. If you”d prefer, Boodles of Baskets can track your order for you for a $5 tracking fee per item.
We provide a complete list of products used in each gift, along with the measurements, photo and price so that you may see exactly what you are ordering. There may be, due to weather or product stock, substitutions, but we can assure you they will always be of equal or greater value than items shown.
Single gift basket orders, which are cancelled after they have been built are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
Multiple orders which are cancelled after they have been built are subject to a 50% restocking fee.
Due to the nature of balloons, balloon orders, which have been inflated, are non-cancelable and non-refundable.
Due to the perishable nature of cookies, fudge and popcorn these items are are non-cancelable and non-refundable. Please ensure that someone will be available to receive your gift on the delivery date. We cannot be responsible for gifts that are damaged or spoiled due to any delivery issues.
All damaged shipments must be reported within 5 business days. We will make every effort to replace damaged items within this time, however we cannot be responsible for damage not reported within this time frame. Please keep all damaged merchandise and packaging as it may be requested by the carrier.
Any goods returned to Boodles of Baskets without prior authorization will not be refunded. The shipping costs of unauthorized returns will not be refunded. All goods authorized for return by Boodles of Baskets, must be in their original box and in good condition. No credits or replacements will be processed, until the returned merchandise is received by us. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Due to government regulations all gifts shipped to the USA are non-returnable and non-refundable.
All orders cancelled after the credit card has been processed are subject to a $5.00 cancellation fee.
Holiday gifts which are returned to us, because we have been unable to deliver them for any reason are non-refundable.
Due to their nature, all holiday gifts, unless damaged, are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to change, amend, update or cancel this policy at anytime without notice. All orders are subject to our approval.
